BEFORE ALL ELSE, PWS:LEGACY IS A DRAMA FREE FED. DRAMA OF ANY SORT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!
1. As a Handler, you are responsible for any and all posts made through your accounts. This involves OOC (Out Of Character), Show Roleplays, Backstage Threads, Twitter, Discord and even PMs. Any Racially, religiously, or sexually inappropriate remarks/images made towards another is prohibited. This is mostly for OOC stuff, but also keep it within reason, in character as well. This is a game that we all love!
![](https://i.ibb.co/zF8SvN0/Be-Cool-and-Don-t-Be-A-Dick.png)
2. Absolutely NO Flaming, Harassing or Trolling on these boards. This includes OOC boards and PMs. It looks bad to all members. Any post seen as such will be deleted and you will be PMed about it. If you wish to become nasty and unwilling to listen, you will be asked to leave, if you refuse you will be banned from the boards. You get ONE warning on this before banishing starts. As stated before: This is a game! No one wants to play if they are gonna get attacked out of character.
3. Respect the staff members. We are humans and working hard for you guys. We probably will make mistakes from time to time. If you have a problem please message Management and we can discuss why a decision was made. If we need to rectify something we can do it in storyline and in severe cases edits. This includes- but is not limited to- match outcomes, match finishes, title shots, title defenses, storylines/segments approvals/denials, and bookings.
4. Spam on the boards will not be tolerated. All spam will be deleted and if it continues will result in SUSPENSION or REMOVAL from PWS: Legacy. This includes- but is not limited to- unapproved advertising of other efeds, posting repeated posts in areas they shouldn't be just for post count, and other repeated posts that are for no reason. We will probably have some games going for you to play ooc, such as "person above you" or "last one to post wins" etc... repeated posts in there are fine as that is kinda the purpose of the thread.
PWS: Legacy Wrestling is an original character efed that “wins and losses” are determined mostly by roleplays. Sometimes outcomes will be determined by storyline, with all handlers involved. How you win will be determined by how you manage your character. (ie: Heels may win by cheating)
Reminder: Have fun. If you do not think you can follow this rule then you should leave. This has to be fun for everybody. Bullying will not be tolerated.
1. Wrestler Rules:
Original Wrestlers only. This means no real life wrestlers (ie: CM Punk). If you wish to base them off a real life character feel free to, but please add your own personality to the gimmick. AND PLEASE DO NOT GO RIPPING OFF OTHER WRESTLERS AND JUST CHANGE THEIR NAME!
Stables and Tag Teams are encouraged.

2. Roleplay rules and requirements.
The roleplay limit for matches will change based on the event and the match type. As a general rule of thumb, Anarchy rps will have a 300 minimum and 5000 maximum where a ppv match will have a 500 minimum and 5000 maximum. Most matches will only have a 1 rp limit (for tag team matches it will be 1 rp per character or 1 joint rp) - this may be raised to 2 per person for big matches if all participants agree to it. THIS MAY CHANGE. Please refer to your match thread to confirm your word/post limits. Any rp's posted below the minimum or above the maximum WILL NOT COUNT. And trust me, we hate to not count your hard work, so please word count before posting. This is merely for our own sanity. Who wants to read 15,000 words from multiple people and judge it?
Dealine will be 11:59:59 PM Eastern the day of the deadline. If you post after the deadline it will not count unless some special circumstances are agreed upon by your opponent(s) and staff - and will be publicly posted on the boards somewhere & social media.
Once a role-play is posted, you have 30 minutes to make any edits. Please proofread your writing before posting. We can see when a post was edited... So please do not try and trick us. Any posts seen to be edited after the 30 minute mark will, unfortunately, be disqualified. It's an easy rule, and the preview button is there for a reason.
Roleplay to the best of your ability. If you do your best that is all we can ask for. We are not worried about the quantity, Quality is what counts. Sandbagging is frowned upon and can result in you losing matches if a frequent occurrence. Graphics and pictures in roleplays will not help you get a win, but are allowed. You put in your best effort, so we can reciprocate it.
Sexism/Racism/other offensive topics in posts: While it may not be your personal view, please remember that what your character says will be seen by many others. That being said, Do not say something to just be controversial because it will only get you so far. If your character is against women’s wrestling that is fine be sure to keep it out of OOC forums and make sure its not something that will overly offend
We understand that some characters are meant to offend, especially heels. It's gonna happen. But there is a limit to what we will tolerate. We aren't sticklers and we want to give you the freedom to explore your characters, but there is a limit. Certain things are just in really bad taste, and will have action taken. If we feel you have gone too far, we will contact you and explain why etc. If this is a frequent thing, actions will be taken up to and including termination/banishment. If you are unsure if your character's comment will be considered too much, please feel free to contact management and ask our opinion. Better safe than sorry.
Please keep things realistic. AKA: No murdering people, raping people, or extremely unrealistic things in your rps.
If the character doesn't belong to you, you need to get permission to use them. Members of Management and Staff will also be needing permission from an Admin. Backstage Interviewers will not need permission just remember. No harming or ambushing any member of Legacy staff without Permission from an Admin. If you are unsure if the character you wish to use is a backstage personality or not, please contact a member of staff and we will be happy to help you. If you do get permission to use someone else's character, Please Notate your RP, that you have permission to use another wrestler in your RP, so that we know.
Proofread your work please. What this means is check your spelling and grammar after you are done writing it up before you post it. Things like this can cause you to lose points because if we can't understand what you wrote then we can't give it a fair grade. You won't lose a lot of points for a few spelling or grammar errors. But if it gets to the point where we struggle to read the roleplay because of extensive errors... you will begin to lose points.
Judging of RPs: Extending on that last point, roleplays are judged on the following components - in order of importance-
[*]Entertainment Value - Keep it interesting, if we struggle to read your RP because we find it boring, that can hurt your overall score.
[*]Match Relevance - Keep your match RPs about the match. While we encourage and definitely want to see CD (character development) in your roleplays, there should still be a fair amount of your story relating to the match and what your character is facing in PWS. Talk about your opponent(s)! Also, while we understand that backstage interviews are common, doing them every single week can start to cost you in the long run; be creative in how you get your point across.
[*]Spelling/Grammar - We aren't going to be spelling/grammar Nazis. But, everything has spellcheck and even grammar check, especially on Google Docs and Grammarly is a thing! But, as long as it doesn't take away from our understanding of the roleplay, you should be fine. If every other word is misspelled... you will have a harder time winning.
[*]Character Development - This is where your creativity and originality should really shine. When we read, you don’t want to have your character feel like it is just one dimensional. Be creative, but also realistic. A creative scene can edge out a close rp that is not as creative. Your character development should be relevant to your match. CD for the sake of padding your RP can cost you.
Things that can cost you points in your RPs:
Lack of match relevance - A 2000 word roleplay with 2 sentences about the match is likely to lose to a 500 word rp that focuses on the match.
Padding your word count - example: you post a 5000 word rp but 2000 words of that is something that has nothing to do with anything related to the fed and is just to make your rp look longer. This can cost you in the end.
Overuse of pictures - sometimes, ya need a photo to help the reader get a visual. This is fantastic and encouraged. But don't go overboard. Do we really need to see 5 pictures explaining someone's outfit? No, we really don't.
Things that will not affect your scores in any way:
Colors - If you want to color code your RPs, more power to you. Color coding, or not color coding, will not affect your score one way or the other. Or any other esthetic choice such as bold/italics/underlines. These are 100% your discretion.
Fancy symbols- If you wanna use (parenthese) around actions, or use other fancy symbols to differentiate actions/speaking/scenes etc... more power to you. As long as it isn't overly distracting, it doesn't matter to us if you do "**NAME:**" or just "NAME:". As long as we can read what we need to read... that's fine by us. Feel free to make it look pretty if you wish.
3. Deadlines and Showtimes
We will have different types of cards:
Televised Shows (Anarchy)
PPVS (usually every 4 Anarchy's, give or take)
Special Events (occasional house shows or special events that will be like mini PPVs)
Shows will be bi-weekly as this is similar to a “weekly television show” in the style of WWE, but we don't want anyone to get burned out. Doing bi-weekly this will allow us a few days to write the shows, allow you guys enough time to roleplay for each show, and give us a day or two to book the cards - which will allow for the highest quality shows to be put together. Each show will be booked and written by members of Staff and a Writing team. There is an opt-in that will be asked on our Discord Server: discord.gg/tnkwARmu
Deadlines for shows and events are as followed, on a normal basis:
Anarchy - Sunday Night at 11:59:59 pm Eastern.
PPV - Sunday Night at 11:59:59 pm Eastern.
(This may change based on when we get the card up, etc. Please see the card and your match threads for official deadlines.)
ALL DEADLINES ARE IN EASTERN TIME (U.S. EAST COAST)- IF YOU ARE UNSURE WHAT THAT IS IN YOUR TIME PLEASE CONTACT US TO STRAIGHTEN IT OUT
4. Requesting Matches, Angles, and Segments
Requests for matches are to be submitted to staff through PMs. Please make sure in PM’s to include a Storyline angle. We want you guys to work with people you want to work with, so please feel free to come to us! We love seeing people involved in their characters and storylines. Please note, however, that just because you request a specific storyline/match does not mean it will be approved or booked.
Segments are to be sent in PM form within 48 hours of the deadline of desired show. We will try to make a last call in the shoutbox for segments.
Angles Segments and Interferences may be altered to fit with the show. You will be informed if changes are made and may even be asked to make changes yourself.
Segments for angles will be sent in by you guys. We, as staff, are not here to write for your characters besides matches. YOU need to put in the effort. Staff will only write segments for the characters in extreme situations, or when the segment is part of a huge storyline and is absolutely necessary for a big angle.
5. Other info.
If you need time off or you wish to not be booked in character for an injury storyline or something do let the staff know as soon as possible. We realize real life comes first. “No Showing” repeatedly will result in Termination. We also understand that accidents and events prevent us from getting online or in communication with a member of management. If such a case arises, contact management ASAP. We are not heartless and we understand things happen. Just contact us. We are all on daily and will get back to you asap. All we ask for is communication.
Each Wrestler may hold ONE TITLE AT A TIME!. There is an exception for tag titles. A single character may hold a singles title and a tag title at the same time.
We are an Intergender Promotion. Female Wrestlers may hold any title within the company. In which case, Women will face Men. We understand that some characters are not ok with intergender wrestling, and that is understandable. Just let us know if you are a man who doesn't want to fight women, or a woman who doesn't want to face men. We will try to accommodate that character to the best of our abilities. Please note: this MAY limit your bookings, title opportunities and storyline possibilities.
Champions who “no show” a title match will lose their title no matter what. If their opponent RP’d, they will be crowned Champion. If both no show, title will be stripped in whatever manner that we deem fit for the show. Anyone who does not show a title shot will not get one until management feels they earn it again. There can be an exception made if you contact us in advance. Life happens, emergencies occur. Communication is key.
If you have a problem with a result please pm one of the members of Management. Please do not go to the boards and attack Management for results. Things happen, we are all human and if kept civil changes could be made via storyline or in severe cases edits can be made to posted results.
6. Applications
All applicants must fill out an application in full with all of the required information using our template. You will not be booked without a stat page.
For tag team applicants please fill out two applications, one for each character. Then fill out a tag team form.
The above also goes for stables/factions applying. Fill out an application for each member and then fill out a stable form.
There is a cap on the number of wrestlers each handler can control. That limit is 3 active wrestlers per handler (as long as 1 is part time). The handler can control the entire tag team (which will count as 1) but they will only compete in tag team matches unless a storyline calls for otherwise. You are free to have as many support characters as needed.
Only realistic movesets will be accepted. (Example: Huge wrestlers aren't high flyers.) If your stats are seen as unrealistic, you will be contacted and asked to change it.
Other than all this, we want you to have fun! PLEASE join the PWS: Legacy Discord server: discord.gg/tnkwARmu and engage with us on Twitter at @pws_LEGACY.
